Seth Bennon Roberts, 24, and Wesley Robert Peters, 22, of 170 Lamar County Line Road, Griffin, were again denied bond at a preliminary/committal and probable cause hearing in Lamar County magistrate court Tuesday.

Roberts (left) and Peters remain jailed.

I am not presently a citizen of Barnesville, but grew up there, and feel absolutely qualified to comment. NO ONE caught with pipe bombs loaded with tacks and nails should be allowed out on the streets on bond. No matter what their intent was in possessing these bombs, they were dangerous to have and some innocent person could have been maimed or killed coming into contact with them.

I would agree that they should have been denied bond.
