"The hand written document Caldwell presented the JQC reads in black ink: "I hereby agree to never seek or accept judicial office again. In blue ink is the notation 'Accepted' followed by the signature of Richard Hyde. Richard Hyde is an investigator for the JQC. The document is dated April 19."
Yeah yeah yeah....I know it says judicial office, but if he we can't trust him on the bench, can we trust him MAKING LAWS and spending our TAX DOLLARS?

My choice is Mr. Ryan Christopher. I have searched the archives on the other candidate and was further encouraged to support Mr. Christopher after reading all the STUFF on Mr. Caldwell. Of particular interest were articles in the AJC, the Fayette newspaper and a handwritten letter by Mr. Caldwell stating he would no longer run for office.
I know Mr. Christopher for being a man of the highest honor and the highest ethics! Do we truly want anything or anyone else supporting us at the state level.
I agree with "No Thanks"!!!! Read the archived articles and make your decision for Mr. Christopher, an honorable man whose entire purpose is to work for the people of this state!
It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first.

UPDATE: There are reports emanating from Atlanta media sources that at least one investigator from the Georgia Judicial Qualifications Commission was at courthouses in the circuit today with regard to an investigation. Additionally, Caldwell has signed an agreement with the JQC to never seek office again."
The only way to get, and keep, people out of office that no longer serve the people is to support the better candidates that are putting their regular jobs and other things on hold while seeking an office to serve. As long as the "good ole boy network" stays in office nothing will change.
Qualifying is over and we have some good folks running for office from local to national seats, but there are still incumbents who ignore the people they have pledged to serve who are running unopposed. That is sad.
Google this ex-judge's name, and you (maybe) will be shocked. If we don't elect Ryan Christopher instead of this dud, we get what we deserve. I have known Ryan for years, and gladly recommend him as an intelligent, deep-thinking, well-spoken, compassionate, hard-working, God-fearing, family-oriented, enthusiastic, and good-humored man.
I saw the letter and I saw that, but a man with the morals of this man does not need to be an any other position either. I have read all the archived articles about him and I just flatly don't want someone like this working for the people of GA.
Looks like I am not alone either, by the looks of the poll.
