A local man charged with robbing the B&L Convenience Store at gunpoint here January 11 is trading his Lamar County jail outfit for prison duds.

There ya go, big guy. Enjoy your all expenses paid, 12 year custody in your less that luxurious, tax-payer paid for detention facility!

Gotta wonder what he's thinking, knowing it will be years before he has a semblance of life again.

Oh, you mean air conditioning three hots and a cot without having to lift a finger? Not to mention free college, cable TV, Weights so he can be stronger when he does finally get out. What kind of deterrent is that? I say put them in tents like the Sheriff out west does and make them work a farm or a road crew. If the crops don't come in you don't eat.
