A much-needed rainstorm chose an inconvenient time to appear Sunday when about 10,000 people had to take shelter in the buildings at Rock Springs Church during their Celebrate America event.
The Oak Ridge Boys waited patiently to start their performance and everything went on as planned after the storm, even the fireworks.
Wednesday there will be two local observances.
