Trish Henry, founder of Lamar County’s Conservatory for the Arts, is forming an auxiliary of retired educators, grandparents and others who are interested in being volunteers for enrichment programs at several locations.
Little dragon Tara Miley, a pre-K karate student, admires her certificate for earning Little Dragon Gold Belt with her class. The karate groups meet at Lamar County primary school, with volunteers helping before classes.
