The Lamar County Trojans traveled to Griffin Friday night to do battle with the Spalding High Jaguar and had to get a last second field goal from Tyler Scandrett to force a 3-3 tie in its first game under new coach Franklin Stephens.
With two starters out, the Trojan offensive line was stoned by the Jag defensive front for most of the night. As a result, the Lamar Wing-T attack never got untracked until a final, desperation drive in the closing minutes when they clinched a tie. (Photo: Walter Geiger)
