Rains wreak havoc on roads, cause closings

Heavy rains falling on saturated ground have wreaked havoc with county roads today. Multiple roads are closed and things are likely to get worse before they get better.

I can't help but laugh at the closing of Perkins Road. There are only 4 houses on one end of the road but do you think that the County is worried about the washed out cross drain at Perkins and Warner? No they only worry about the swamp at Perkins Bottom where there are no houses.

Andy the county could pay you $5,000.00 and you would bitch because you had to walk to the mailbox to get it. At least they are making an effort which is more than we have seen before. Try making an effort and call and let them know - oh wait - if you did that you couldn't bitch!

I couldnt go to work cause of the rain...I didnt want my hair to get wet..LOL! I just stayed home and watched Johnny Be Good with Anthony Michael Hall..Omg!he's fine lol! He reminds me of me and my High School days hanging out with my BBF's and all......Think I'll head to Milano's and pound a few brew-skis!...woo-hoo lets get wasted!LOL!

Rip must have some sort of buddy system with the "red boxes" here online. My comment about his comments never made it up here. Wonder what is going on there?
If you are gonna let certain comments about certain ppl be posted but not others i say shut this whole blog thing down. How bout it?

lol.. there wasnt anything in there racist or violent in nature or threatening. You read it so you know. Like i said, certain comments about different individuals gets posted up and goes through the editing or pre-screening process fine.
Its all good though. That is how barnesville is. Good city but you got ppl looking out for one another on a certain level. It all depends on "who your folks are".

BTW, i never mentioned rips last name. There could be tons of ppl with a name/nickname of "rip". Therefor i wasnt specifically pointing out one particular person. Ofcourse if you have ever been to milanos and seen him getting plastered you would kinda put 2 and 2 together with his milanos comment.

Ohh well. Life goes on.

If I were to go back to review your comments in case there were an error and you were not allow to post comments for some reason (as technology is not flawless, ever) I would not be able to do so. You are one of the hundreds of 'Anonymous' posters. I honestly don't remember anything about a rip or drinking in public restaurants. Whatever the case, my apologies if something was edited or deleted unfairly.

And trust me, I am looking out for no one other than myself. I haven't even been in this town long enough to know anyone to look out for.
