Get out your guns a protect your selfs. I wonder what time of night this was and where the three officers on duty were. I know about 12 AM they were all piled up at the Huddle House as usual when I come home.
Why is it that we can put cameras on intersections that can take clear photographs of license plates of people that run through red lights, but can't get a half-way decent camera in convenience stores? No wonder they get robbed: the thugs know they will never be ID'ed by the video.
Not saying it is this case, but often times stores put cameras up to watch hands in the cash register and the counter. Not to ID walk in people.
It's a several thousand dollars for a good camera system in a store that watches multiple views clearly. A good license plate camera is many thousands of dollars by itself, and only focuses on one lane at one distance.
It's an expensive investment, but if I had a store I'd sure spend the money for something in focus pointed at someone's face.
Let me try this one.... Because that stupid camera up in Griffin was paid for with taxpayers dollars and those governmental agencies don't care how they spend our money so the sky's the limit.
Whereas the convenience store pays for their own equipment and money is an issue in the private sector.
