Toxicology clear in case of dead child
Toxiciology reports came back clean in the case of a Lamar County child who died just days after his first birthday earlier this year.
Autopsy results were pending in the case while medical examiners awaited toxicology outcomes in the case of Ethan McFadden. Those reports came in Wednesday and were clear, according to Lamar County coroner Jim Smith.
Young Ethan was taken to Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta early May 13 and died May 14, according to coroner Jim Smith.
Ethan was the son of Michael and Tiffany McFadden of 131 White Oak Drive.

The toxicology report, the screening for toxins in a body, done on the child showed no signs of toxins. Ethan didn't die of drugs or any other toxic substance being put into his body.
