Another home was destroyed in a suspicious, late night fire here December 27 and investigators theorize it may be the 12th local blaze ignited by a serial arsonist.
The destroyed Poore home at 902 Hwy. 41 South is the latest of 12 unsolved local fires dating back to 2007 thought to be arsons. Authorities are on the lookout for two suspect vehicles in connection with the arsons.
If your theory is correct that sure seems like exceptional patience and cunning. I'm certainly not an expert criminal psychologist, but it seems to me most arson fires are an act of desperation and probably not a 5 year future plan starting in 2007.
We have some crafty criminals around here, but patience and ability to hold it in the road for long periods of time is certainly not on their list of criminal assets.
