The head football coaching vacancy at Camden County high is reportedly attracting a lot of attention with about 160 applicants for the plum job in Kingsland. A hiring decision at Camden is expected this week

Our poor kids. They need stability, to know if they are going to have to be taught under a different coach or are keeping the same one, if its only temporary. You can't blame coach, it's just a shame that the kids have to go through this again. Twice in one year. Ugh.

There is no such thing as loyalty anymore, it is what can you give me ?, or high can i go ? you will find very few people left in the world who would be satisfied or loyal to the kids for the love of the game. Time will tell if Lamar County was just a stepping stone.

Interesting that Coach Stephens still will not comment on this. That alone should tell everyone what they need to know.

Proof once again that money does not buy loyalty.
