To all who believe and agree with post #1, has any of you ever read, dissect and truly understood our constitution? We would be no better than the Taliban and the Muslim Extremists if we forget these words....Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; Rather you agree with the Founding Fathers or not, these words have protected and kept us from the whackos within the Religious Extremist Communities. Most Americans identify themselves as Christians but if they truly respect and honor the writings of the Constitution, they would show restraint and keep their beliefs and prayers to themselves..
#4 My beliefs and prayers don't come from the constitution - but from the BIBLE. You can have your opinion, which I don't think too much of, but at least get my point- I personally think a lot of the problems in the USA today could be solved if people did turn to God and forget what man has fooled some into thinking. But, I will pray for you.
Have the right to? Ofcourse you dont have a "right" to do such. A right is a political word with its own definition for the people of the U.S.
To explain to people the gospel of our Lord and Savior is filling. It is your choice whether you choose to act on it. It is a Christains responsability to encourage everyone to come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior.
#7 you are so much against being bombarded with the "rhetoric" of Christianity but you didnt mention the children being forced to learn certain things in school. If you want a college prep seal, you WILL learn a second language. Why? We are in the USA. Why cater to the ppl that cant speak our language.
Why was i bombarded with the stuff that the Govnt mandates that i must hear in school but my religion and beliefs and morals suggest otherwise? Why must i pay school taxes when i dont have a child that goes to school? There are plenty of other things that doesnt make sense that is mandated by the govnt by law. To hear the gospel of Jesus Christ shouldnt even cross your mind as it has in the previous post #7. America needs to wake up. The churches were full after 9/11 and around Y2K. After things return to normal most of them return to their previous lives but were worried in the midst of it. Why is this? Ppl know what is right and wrong but cant give up what this world has to offer. Bottom line!
