Drug raid arrestees named
Lamar County sheriff Larry Waller, Barnesville police chief Chuck Keadle and other law enforcement officials held a press conference this afternoon and named those who were arrested in this morning’s drug raids.

I really don't think arresting a bunch of small time pushers is really going to do much for the war on drugs. The key to really fighting drugs is to hit the people at the top. Kinda off topic, but relevant too.... Has anyone seen the documentary Cocaine Cowboys?
If you know as much as you say you do than PLEASE go to the police and tell on these criminals. White people don’t care what color your shin is, we want ALL of the criminals behind bars. you didn’t see any white people taking up for that white girl that the task force got with meth did you? what about the four white guys that got busted in that road block on hwy 36? did you see any white people on here posting comments in their defense? Or what about "Big daddy D"? The only people who tried to take up for him were his co-defendants. Or what about the guy who murdered that man on grove street? Did any white people try to defend him and suggest that the law shouldn’t apply to him because of the color of his skin? Once again, we want all criminal in jail. So PLEASE turn in any criminals that you have information on, especially meth heads. Meth is just as bad as crack and I always love to see a methhead go to jail. And regardless of what some of these pill popping junkies may tell you, prescription drug abuse is just as bad. So if you really do have information that could lead to the arrest of these drug dealers or abusers and you don’t turn them in than you are just as bad as them and therefore have no room to talk about them.

Now, to the point. I strongly encourage you to give info. you have on anyone (including white people, rich or poor) over to the proper authorities or even make an anonymous tip and back it up with the proof you have. Keep a record of your reporting of a crime and if it is not looked into, turn it over to someone who can investigate the agency you gave the info to. Keep in mind that most of the time, a bust does not occur "the next day". They have to get warrants, they usually have to watch the location where the bust is gonna occur to insure that they can keep any children, elderly, any other non involved citizens, and themselves safe. But keep tabs on it. It is often frustrating when you feel like there is injustice and noone will help but remember....most people will more quickly help someone who calmly and gracefully states their problem and asks for help than they will for someone who is ranting and "going off" and making accusations of wrong doing. Please try this attempt..... and let us all know how you come out because all criminals need to be taken off the streets regardless of what color, who they know, or who they are. Good luck and please calm down and do this the right way so you can get some help with this and help the entire county. God knows we need someone who won't back down but will handle it through the right channels with dignity.
It will make people arrested more tight-lipped and discourage cooperating with police. It puts informants gleaned from busts for minor personal possession amounts at risk as the heavy-hitter dealers retaliate.
Apparently it is more important that some people get good press for themselves than protect the informers who help them make valuable arrests. Not the smartest way to handle the media and informers.

Included in this circle is a police force that is partly funded by the confiscation of private property and cash. Also included are countless jobs of law enforcement personnel, public defenders, probation officers and the court / penitentiary system.
All this is a major drain on the tax payer (you and me). many years ago slavery was common practice and considered normal. we've all grew over the years and the majority of people in the world now accept slavery as wrong. but it is still practiced in some parts of the world.
your comments demonstrate hatred toward whites. or at least that is the way i perceive them. many years past in the south, whites considered owning black slaves normal. whites in the north considered slavery wrong. slavery was "one" of the things that led to the war between the states. in that war over 600,000 soldiers died. 360,000 of them were northerners with the greatest majority of them white. therefore, many white people died to obtain freedom and abolish slavery to blacks.
building american was a combined effort of all people of all races from all parts of the world. it was not built from the bondage or work of the black race alone. you are attempting to give yourself and your race to much credit.
my own american heritage originated in europe, yet i'm not a european american. that title belonged to my ancestors that originally migrated. so I have a question for you. why don't you cease being an african american and become an american?

i try not to judge but i do say what is on my mind. i'm also sure that some of the things i say appear to be judgmental but i really don't mean them to be. i believe in calling a spade, a spade so to speak, if you are familiar with cards. i try not to beat around the bush when i have something to say. i'm sorry if i say something that may hurt someone's feelings but being honest and saying what i think seems to be the best approach.

First, I used the term war between the states and not civil war. It was you that substituted the wording and created your oxymoron. Second, I never said you hated whites. You are aware that I am white and in your written thinking, you attached my skin color with your own perception as seeing my apparent feelings of superiority. Jumping forward, you wrote that men fought and died in battles to maintain a way of life that was only beneficial to them. If I’m not mistaken, I said the same thing when I said that southern whites considered owning slaves as normal which was a contributing factor to the War Between the States. Being that they considered slave ownership as normal, an assumption can be made that they were indeed fighting to maintain that way of life. I did not Knight any of them anywhere in my wording. If anything, I gave the northerners the glory for fighting to end the inhuman behavior of slave ownership.
Now you wish to introduce a new topic of the old state flag. Although it wasn’t brought up in the original comments, I’ll respond anyway. You start off by asking me the question of why is it difficult for me to understand the feelings of black people living in a state that chose the stars and bars as a symbol. Congratulations on being a USAF veteran. I too have been serving my country for the past 37 years, continuing to this day, with 20 of those years in the USAF. I started in the Viet Nam Era. I too have had the opportunity to stand on many foreign soils but unlike you, I have seen negative opinions about Americans regardless of skin color, opinions that would, in some cases actually prefer us dead. Therefore, I found it odd that you assume that only America, specifically and apparently white America, forms negative opinions of you because of your skin color.
I chose to make my own opinion regarding the sunflower seed episode. Personally, I believe you are making up a fairy tale. The term third world country, white counterpart, and hungry children makes for a good story and useful to your cause propaganda. If it did happen, it was your responsibility to bring the act to the attention of the commander, thus starting administrative action against the white counterpart. With your obvious written feelings toward whites, I believe that is an opportunity that you wouldn’t have allowed to slip by. However, if you did, you are no better than the person that you say spit the seeds. I would also wonder what impressions those hungry children had of you for allowing it to happen. Do you think they considered you a humanitarian?
In closing, I never suggested that you leave your country. I only stated that if you or anyone finds the living conditions too harsh, you do have the freedom to move to a location that better pleases you. I’m not lecturing you. I’m merely pointing out truths.
