Invesitigators have made three more arrests in the ongoing cocaine conspiracy case stemming from the jailing earlier this year of Reginald Tamplin and Shemika Sullivan.

Boy wasn't that a slap in the face to Spalding County, having one of their own public safety employees arrested, at work no less, for selling cocaine. But what do you expect. If you had to live on what they get paid you might have to resort to selling things too.

Public safety...what branch?? Looks like spalding county has a good random drug program. They say if you sell it, you use it... Send them away for tweenty and let them pick up trash, pull weeds, cut grass, etc. Oh and feed them noodles and let them sleep in tenst and wear pink clothes. They can aso build an outsied for the bathroom. If they want to watch TV, give them the 700 club.

It's so sad to see the nonsense that is posted on this site from the citizens of Lamar County. First of all, if you sell drugs you should be punished because God has given the each of us the ability to know the difference between right and wrong. As for the drug dealers selling to the children of Lamar County, the same scenario applies. If you taught to your children about harmful aspect of drugs, then your child should have the ability to determine that drugs are wrong. No one puts a gun to anyone head to tell them to sell drugs and to use drugs. Use your God given ability to know the difference. WRONG IS WRONG!!!! So stop pointing the figure. What needs to happen is someone needs to sue the Lamar County schools system especially the English teachers. Some of the grammar/spelling errors that are posted really show the lack of education in the Lamar County community. I don't know if someone "behind the scene" thinks it "CUTE" to post such comments about race or who selling drugs. It's not cute at all. It really shows the "Mind is a terrible thing to waste" Education is the key to success and it makes me wonder what happen to the Lamar County schools system.

In the future before you post your comments, please go to Microsoft Office Word and type your comments their first. Then, use spelling check and look for grammatical errors. Last, paste your comments onto the site. Maybe!!! This will eliminate some of the grammatical issues. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Your grammar and comprehension of the English language is all over the place as well. Nice of you to admonish others while you lack in that area, too. I am a product of the Lamar County School system and I have went on to achieve two higher level degrees. The Lamar County School system prepared me for college which is the reason I was able to continue to go forward in life and achieve a graduate-level education.

Alas...I move on from your self-righteous indignation...

The selling and usage of drugs continues to plague this small, yet wonderful town. It breaks my heart to witness the failure of mothers and fathers to steer their children in a better direction (a direction towards serving GOD). The sins of the parents have been passed down and heaped upon the lives of their children. Let us all repent and turn from our wickedness!

Talk about bad english I'm sure that you meant to say "it's cute" instead of "it cute, but I'm sure that yours was a typo and that will be your excuse. I am not in the education field so this is not coming from a teacher, however, I do have two children that have attended Lamar Co. Schools and they do not talk or write this way. This is in no way a reflection on what is being taught in our schools. It's called choices. The education is there for the taking but it can not be forced on anyone. These kids need to accept responsibility and be held accountable for their own actions. Stop looking for a cruch for their ignorance. Apply what you said about the drug dealers and smoke what you are selling.
