In my opinion, Friday and Saturday are bad television times. I like to watch House on Mondays, American Idol on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and a string of NCIS on Thursday.

The mechanical dynamics of the family seems to broaden as society moves forward. There are many factors that transform the family unit and I believe economics being the major contributor. At one time in my life, I believed that a child must have a participating Mommy and Daddy in order to produce a well adjusted child. In some ways I still do, but I have seen to may exceptions to this rule to be steadfast on this position.
Within the next two years the world population will reach seven billion. Our general mind set as a species must change if we are to survive future generations. The greatest responsibility one can accept is to bring another person into this world. In today’s time this accountability is not obligatory.
The innate right to reproduce will one day come into question. No one person can exist and not have a factor on other, as well as, the ecosystem. When does this right to reproduce come into play when world resources are pushed to its’ limit? Will quality of life itself or the right of other species to also exist trump human reproductive rights? It’s as if, your rights end when the planet’s begin, has never been addressed, however, will be in the not to distant future.
The rights of, the child to be, is also never taken into question. There are too many people having children they don’t want and others who want children and can’t have them for the welfare of, the child to be, to not to be taken into consideration.

It’s interesting that I need a permit, to drive a car, to fish or hunt, to checkout a library book but all I need to reproduce is the physical means to do so. Which physical act do you believe has a greater impact on another person or society as a whole? Which act requires a greater financial or moral commitment? The solution may still be beyond our means; however, what should concern us the most is how we are to solve this problem and maintain at least shred of human

I can just visualize the bright happy smile on your face. (NOT) We could start by sending illegals back where they came from and re-group. That should give us a little breathing room long enough to get pot legalized so we will all be laughing too much to have sex. I can understand your effort to keep things on the liter side and I admire your creative and positive literary style. What I have been waiting for on this Blog, as well as, in the Barnesville paper is a substantive dialogue that goes after the heart of matters that affect our community the most. What I have been getting are articles that is only address fringe subject matter and appear to be politically volatile.
If you want a community newspaper or website that provides an interest of the cross section of the local population don’t worry about the volume of your subscribers, that will take care of itself, if subjects are brought forth that prompt a “meaty dialogue”. Remember Barnesville is now primarily a college town and is well equipped to have other than backwater or small town points of view, so let us prove it to the world.
Next, your attitude toward President Obama leads me to believe you are a single issue voter. This I don’t understand because obviously you’re to smart for that kind of thing. Our president has an enormous mess to clean up and many of the solutions are not going to go down to well with those who contest social reform. The cavalier cowboy and crass leadership style is now long gone. Halleluiah sweet Jesus! When if comes to the integrity
of the executive branch, obviously you don’t know what we presently have at hand.
Provide us with something that will draw the interest of those that really have something fresh and productive to contribute. That is the kind of stuff that will draw more hits on a website.

obama cannot get off Air Force One and television long enough to accomplish anything. I see him so much, I think he is a part of the Horizon Network. He cares ZERO about the United States...he wants the world to remember him. They were probably trying to refuel the plane when it was flying so low a few weeks ago. Keep loving obama. I love Simon Cowell. He is taking me to HOLLYWOOD.

Having only ridiculous conjecture to justify this attitude toward a man who has overcome so much social and political adversity leads me to believe the only reason for despising this man is that it is good for business. I already believed capitalism has no conscience this on solidifies my understanding.

I assure you I am as much American as anyone. I have been well programmed to our way of life but perceptive enough to see its faults, as well as, its advantages. I graduated from the local high school, Eagle Scout from a local Troop and served my country honorably. Not only that I pay more than my share of taxes.
I agree the word fart may sound crude in some social circles but humor has its unique way of crossing most all social boundaries.
If my name confuses you just spell it backwards. If what I said confuses you look up the word rapacious capitalism. I wish you an enjoyable holiday weekend.

Louis, you're a breath of fresh air. Are you sure you grew up in Barnesville? It's amazing that so many theories exist for the cause of global warming but everyone seems to ignore the fact that there are just too many humans.Just think about the amount of gas produced by the humnan population not to mention the toxic by products from the manufacture of all that it takes to keep us fed and happy. It's just like a human to say "It's not me, it's the cows!" And, Obama. Anyone who can't see the good and talent in this man is just plain stonewalled ignorant.

I really a navy brat and we moved to bville when I was in junior high and later I married a local girl. I have been away from B,ville for the last 35 year but recently built a home in north Lamar. Yes, population control is the problem along with almost 700,000,000 motorized vehicles producing green house gases. I agree with you on Obama. Never underestimate the mental impact of theology mixed with politics. It creates a toxic environment that poisons the mind.

I have Multiple Personality Syndrome. It must have been the one working first shift. It is impossible to make all these people inside me behave. I found out last week that one of them voted for obama. She moved to Kenya. She stopped off to spend the night with obama's aunt before she left. You know??? The illegal obama aunt.
