The Herald Gazette and the Pike County Journal Reporter are joining a nationwide effort by community newspapers and others to find photos of all troops whose names are enshrined on the Vietnam Wall in Washington, D.C.
“The Faces Never Forgotten” project is sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation. The National Newspaper Association and Georgia Press Association have highlighted the project in communications to all member papers, citing the “deep community roots (and) unique position” of newspapers to help find and submit photos of each person killed in that war.

Barnesville has more than three on the wall. Jackson Bush and my brother, Carlton H. Hood are two. Carlton was killed in Quang Nam on May 27th, 1968. He was in the Marines, and was only 19 years old at the time.Eddie Mann's mother is Mae Jean Mann and she still lives in Barnesville, and he has three surviving sisters. Donna Abbott

You are correct Donna. The ones listed are the ones they don't have pictures for and asked that all newspapers help in retrieving them.
