Former Barnesville municipal judge Henry Abreu will go before Judge Tommy Wilson at 9 a.m. Monday June 8 for his second probation revocation hearing in less than a month.

After Henry is thrown to the wolves then the people of the tiny village of Barnesville came come out into the streets and dance and rejoice for the big bad Cuban has finally met his doom.
It's always doomsday the people wantfor they do not know the person, only as someone to condemn. And condemnation is their right and it is a joyous enterprise.
Let me think about this.....This judge is in violation of oath of office. This alone should have sent him to prison the first time in my book!! Then they let him have another chance to mess up again. What is wrong with this picture?? Hello .......... Please wake up!! All that is in favor, please stand up......
Maybe you should go along with him if you are having beers with a minor!
He provided alcohol to underage girls, let them drive, and had sexual items in his car. If that was not enough, it continued to anther incident of driving drunk and causing an accident, now stalking and solicitation of sodomy. What would be next?
...You would think that grown folk in Barnesville would have something constructive to do... Rather than poke fun at someone when they are already down... "Give us dirty Laundry"
Humm... Who is really the sick one here????

Dang, you must have the swine flu?? Hurry up and get in isolation before it spreads!!
What's really funny is that some of the people that cry for Henry's doom have committed illegal acts themselves and they don't have any lifelines in the judicial system, believe me if they had connections they would use them.I once had a car accident and it really wasn't my fault but I was headed to court and I used a friend's husband (a judge ) for help. I am not ashamed and I needed what ever help I could find. It's not always what you know it's who you know.
Henry has some problems, I don't think he has murdered anyone.
Sandra, I think the issue for many of us here is that Abreu is a troubled man and he doesn't just do lone acts, he seems to target females who may not be able to protect themselves.
His probation officer wanted him revoked, that says something doesn't it?
A rapist, or pedophile, or murderer usually doesn't come right out of the gate with the big terrible crimes. He works up to the big stuff.
My concern here is that Abreu is escalating. He clearly cannot control his actions, even while wearing an ankle monitor, even while on probation.
For safety's sake, this man bears watching, and I don't mean with an ankle monitor on his other leg (although that was an entertaining suggestion).
Sandra, I believe you live in Florida? Can Henry come stay with you?
I will foot his bus fare if you'll give him a place to stay and you will keep an eye on him.
Clearly Judge Wilson is unable to figure out what to do with him.
I guess I just can hardly believe this, a man that I admired for his expertise in the quarter horse world. He was around some very$$
expensive horses and he was always up front with us about what he charged. It's sad and I do mean so crazy. People are so mean and I don't always believe media propaganda.
I have compassion and I can't help it, I have been burned when I offered a helping hand but that's a gamble.
Dear cats,I know that there are a few innocents left in the world, maybe on some distant, remote island.I also know that if some women know that Henry has money or even 'Friends with MOney'
then what the heck, they will shove it in any man's face.Henry has aged alot since I last saw him but he is a charismatic person and back then respected in the horse world. As men get older they become desperate and sometimes they have lost their attraciveness.
All I am saying is he has dropped a notch or two but every human being has something that can be salvaged. I don't like the way Michael Vick was targeted and I am a big animal person. I see far worse abuse of animals on my drive into town everyday.the fighting is bad but what about horses shut up in small paddocks where they never have a chance to move much less run and stretch their legs. They have no grazing and sometimes limited hay, Some have no cover from the rain or hot sun.Rhe average Joe who is caught with fighting dogs doesn't lose what Michael Vick lost nor do we even hear of them, they aren't in the public eye.Yes, what he did was wrong, dead wrong. Henry is paying the same price because he is well known not only in the business world but also as a municipal judge. he will have to pay a huge price I am sure, but it seems that there in Barnesville people are looking for big people to fall so they can rant and rave with much glee, way too much. We should all develop some compassion now, we are looking at another possible war with that Korean nut case, probably because we seem so vulnerable, bad economy and a weak government.
I guess I expect too much from people, I worry about us all.
Sandra, here's the deal.
Of course anyone who cares for people and our future wants to do the right thing.
But we can't tackle the entire world, all we can do is try to fix what is going on in our own little corner.
Abreu is troubled, he is not following the rules that have been presented to him, his behavior is escalating, and he may be getting dangerous.
It's obvious that he has money or influence or both. He's getting 2nd and 3rd chances that the rest of us regular dumb taxpaying citizens would not get.
It's time for him to be stopped or slowed down, and maybe a little more restriction in his movements, and an assessment by a professional is the way to do it.
Nicely said!! You would be a wonderful writer!! Have you ever written before perhaps for the newspaper or for books?? You are right up there with Sheila Tolley and L.T.!! I would be the first to buy, if any of these people decided to start writing!! Congrats and keep up the good work.

Whatever it is that Mr. Abreu is going through I wish him godspeed in resolution. Our society these days in many instances is no better is procecution and persecution than in the days of the salem witch hunts. We seem to thrive off of percecution and the personal tragedy of others, as long as it is somebody else we seem to enjoy watching the show. Yes, mistakes were made and they were bad decisions. A judge is appointed to this key position ideally to uphold the law especially by the example of his own behavior. The lesson here. He's a human being just like me.

Linda, that was so sweet (puke!!). Put an express lane in for people like Abru, send his @#% straight to jail, slam and lock the door! I guess if that was your daughter or granddaughter you would probably not be vomiting that liberal bull*&%!
sandra on 13.2 i have to disagree. There have been ppl that gets caught dog fighting with the same amount of equipment and orginization that vick had and get 18 years. Vick got off because of money. How do you see far worse things with animals when you drive into town. It is your responsibility as a human with a good brain to report this activity but i highly doubt that you see dogs being electricuted or drowned or have their necks broken. Vick got it so bad in the media because of his public appeal to the entire world and because of his role-model position. Not that he is much of one or has been a good on in the past but whatever.
There is nothing wrong with the breed of American Pit Bull Terriers there is something wrong with the owners. I have had 8 of them at one time and i currently have 2. They are treated better than most of the children at Lamar County elementary school are by their own parents.
If Ted Turner got busted doing the same thing as Vick he would get the same treatment. It wouldnt be the same as mine because of his finacial status but wrong is wrong.
I appreciate your opinion, I am always reporting the obvious as far as animals without obvious food and water to the dept. of agriculture. I was trying to explain the media targets those with the mega celibrity because that sales. I am still not sure about the reports that surfaced about the abuse, anyway Obama will make sure that these torturous acts will not happen again..
you are correct. They target the "big shots" moreso than you and i would be targeted because it is a big story. Mike Vick, Michael Jackson, Pro ball players steriod use, Chris Benoit kills his family, etc. They are big name ppl that the regular ppl of this world unfortunatly look up to as " i want to be like them when i grow up". Or even as adults some ppl are facinated by these starts. When they mess up it gets published because of their status and they know that ppl will buy the material to read. It really has no affect as far as the TV goes. Its on all channels. Just which ever one you are watching is the one you will see it on.
I think he got treated unfairly in the instance that he didnt get the same amount of punishment that i would have gotten. That is the only unfair part to me. It is a shame that money controls the judicial system. Even here in small barnesville Ga.
