its not anyones finger from here. Just a general upload photo im sure.
My church is supposed to be passing out free water there. 500ish ppl are expected to be there. It should be interesting to get informed on this epidemic if you arent currently up to date with the new fad of the current time.
You apparently don't read the paper very often or very well. Take your head out of your sand and wake up. Meth is a serious problem everywhere. It's the new drug of choice. You can't make coke at home but any idiot can cook up a batch of meth.

Wrong Andy. First thing I do every morning after getting my little girl out of her bed is read the AJC. Maybe you should start educating yourself instead of taking other peoples word on everything. Yes, meth is a problem but it is not an epidemic. Please type in 'drugwarfacts.org' an educate yourself. Only 5.3% of the entire US population age 12 plus have used meth in their lifetime and only 0.2% of those have used it in the past month.
I will be so busy during this summit, I don't know when I will find time to sleep. If only there were something I could take would keep me awake the whole time. Any ideas

The Finger appears to be one you would expect to see on the persons who have been arrested for running a meth lab.
I am sure the Health dept doesnt investigate their cleanliness.

yea meth is an epidemic. I worked for the Deparment of Corrections in Jackson for quite a few years. During orientation Mr Hammock would ask the entire class of newbies how many of them were in there for meth related charges. Out of the average 30-40 new comers on tuesdays and thursdays well over half of them raised their hand. I have sat in on many of those orientations and witnessed it first hand. It is an epidemic and has been since 1999 2000 ish years. It has just dramatically increased over to the present time. You would really be suprised how many ppl use meth. PPl you would never expect. This meth issue is far more greater north of atlanta than it is here but we are in serious trouble in this area. You can just imagine what its like up there. Go to ellijay and areas like that and they have posters and stickers everywhere that says "meth watch" and has a phone number on it for you to call.
I know people hate facts but according to the Drugwarfacts.org (type it in and see for yourself) just 5.3% of the entire population of the US 12 years of age and older have tried meth in their lifetime with only 0.2% of the population using meth in the past month. I am sorry if it offends you but that doesn't sound like an epidemic to me. The greatest risk of meth is the manufacturing and disposal of the byproducts into the environment. So I stand firmly in my opinion that it is not an epidemic but a serious problem.
WDM, The term "epidemic" is often used to refer to growing societal problems. Meth and all drugs are a growing problem. You cant always just look at surveys to see this. I can go to town in Barnesville and I will pass meth heads on sidewalk, I can go into pastime and see a methhead come in and eat. I can go to Fred's and I will see them in there buying something. I can move on over to the movie club and there also is a methhead. They are everywhere and they are easy to spot. So, yes I say it is growing rapidly and we need to just start executing them before there are to many.
And, by my own fault, I wrongly left out the most critical, and without question the greatest negative downside of meth, innocent kids whose parents are methheads.
ive done my share of embarrassing things and drugs. Ive never taken a survey. Surveys are not near close to accurate. think about it. Why would ppl honestly answer or take a survey about illegal activities and answer them truthfully even if its anonymously done.
