I’ve been giving some thought to the way things are. Many people point fingers at conservatives and many point fingers at liberal democrats for all the problems we face. It seems that nobody wants to look in a mirror and point to the people really guilty for the problems we are facing. Actually, that person staring back at you from that mirror happens to be the guiltiest of them all.
You are all guilty of complaining about one thing or another, yet you go back to the voting ballot and elect the same people who you were complaining about. Those doing the most complaining are usually guilty of not voting at all. Yet it’s who ever is in charge at the time that is responsible for all the problems. It’s kind of like hiring someone to do a job and not telling them what the job is. You are too afraid or too lazy to write your representatives whom you elected and tell them how you want things done.
I don’t think it really matters much anymore. Most people now worship a television and believe anything that it spurts out. You have lost the ability to think for yourself and you now rely on someone else in the television to do it for you. You have allowed a liberal media to manufacture a false profit that you believe will change your life, and will.
In the future when you have lost your freedoms, have no money of any value, cannot own property, work only for the state and those who lead it, and live in a newly renamed nation and forced to learn and speak a new language, remember, you have zero right to complain. Why? It’s your fault! You always had the power but were too lazy to use it.
You should now think about how are you going to answer your grandchildren when they ask you why you traded away their freedoms.

If I recall correctly, 1958 is the first year that Congress, not President Eisenhower, voted to remove funds from Social Securityand put it into the General Fund for Congress to spend.

From what I understand, Congress logic at that time was that there was so much money in Social Security Fund that it would never run out / be used up for the purpose it was intended / set aside for.

Shame these persons fail to understand this.
