Surely we have not come to the point of choosing one type of offender over another. We will hope that Abreu will get what he deserves when he goes before a jury. Either way, it doesn't make me want a big-time drug dealer back in our county.
Get a "LIFE" Its alot more Importatnt things to worry about than worrying a man who has served his time more than 10 years. What you need to worry about are These Big Timers Putting the crack back out on the streets after they've taken it from the dealers and reselling the crack.
LEAVE THIS HABITUAL VIOLATOR IN JAIL!!! According to the article, he had FOUR previous convictions. As far as I'm concerned he had several chances and never learned. What will make this time any different? As soon as he is back on the street he will go right back to his old ways. He is a burden on society and I for one dont see the need in letting him out and then spending MORE money to convict him again ( when he gets caught selling dope again).
OMG... There are a lot of heartless people in Barnesville who don't understand that people can change. This man has been locked up for ten years. Can he at least get a chance to get out and prove that either the time did him some good or not? There are child molestors, rapists and murderers who have done less time than this man. At least the people who purchased the drugs had the choice of saying NO!!!! to drugs. The children being molested, the people being raped and those who are murdered don't have a choice, it was in the hands of those who were doing it to them. This man just dealt the drugs, it is the drug users who need to step up and say no and deal with their addictions. This way the drug dealers will become obsolete. No demand....no need for supply.
