The Lamar County Trojans (6-2, 3-0) blasted the Putnam County War Eagles (6-2, 2-1) 24-0 Friday night in the annual homecoming game. at Trojan Field. The War Eagles came in thinking they would change the balance of power in Region 4AA but were sent home in tatters, having not come close to scorng in the game.
Jessica Wyatt was named 2015 Homecoming Queen for LC.
The win likely locked up home field advantage for the Trojans in the upcoming playoffs.

Trojan quarterback/safety LJ Smith did not play because the athletic department could not find "the right brace" for his knee, multiple sources on the sideline reported. As it turned out, his team did not need Smith who was frustrated on the sidelines.
