The case of Morehouse police chief Vernon Worthy will be on the criminal court calendar that will be heard Wednesday, July 1. The trials themselves will begin July 20 with Judge Tommy Wilson presiding.
Chief Worthy goes to trial
Worthy is accused of false imprisonment, aggravated assault and pointing a pistol at another during a hunting incident that occurred Nov. 11, 2008. He has pled not guilty.
