The Lamar County Lady Trojans travel to Rome to take on Armuchee in the first round of the state basketball tournament Friday. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m

Lamar, coached by Brian Hampton, is 11-14. Armuchee, coached by Michelle Arp, is 12-14.

UPDATE: Armuchee eliminated LC 66-38.
