A Lamar County school bus was involved in a serious collision Friday afternoon at the intersection of Hwy. 36 West and McCollum Rd., snarling traffic in the area.
James Lawrence “Jimmy” Ballard, 70, of Cle Elum, Wash., formerly of Zebulon, died Jan. 21, 2009, in Yuma, Ariz. Services will be held Saturday, May 9, at 11 a.m. at Zebulon United Methodist Church cemetery.
