Kaila Nicole Adkerson Jones has petitioned to be appointed Administrator(s) of the estate of Winona Adkerson, deceased, of said County. (The petitioner has also applied for waiver of bond and/or grant of certain powers contained in O.C.G.A. §53-12-232.) All interested parties are hereby notified to show cause why said petition should not be granted. All objections to the petition must be in writing, setting forth the grounds of any such objections, and must be filed with the court on or before Aug. 10, 2009. All pleadings/objections must be signed before a notary public or before a probate court clerk, and filing fees must be tendered with your pleadings/objections, unless you qualify to file as an indigent party. Contact probate court personnel at the following address/telephone number for the required amount of filing fees. If any objections are filed, a hearing will be scheduled at a later date. If no objections are filed, the petition may be granted without a hearing.

Christopher Akers, 197 Shawnee Trail, Marietta, forgery;
Darrien Bowles, 200 Southland Dr., Barnesville, possession of marijuana and Lamar County warrant;
Armond Graves, 272 Mill St., Barnesville, criminal trespass;
Wilbert Goggin, 809 Piedmont Woods, Barnesville, probation violation;
Curtis Passmore, 407 Woodall St., Barnesville, possession of marijuana;
Andrew Roberson, 745 Greenwood St., Barnesville, simple battery;
Patricia Turner, 403 Northwoods Dr., Barnesville, dangerous drugs not in original container;
Martha Watkins, 21 Matbeth Rd., Barnesville, cruelty to children.
Officers answered 113 calls for service including six accidents, 10 alarms, one assault, one EMS assist, 29 building security checks, one crowd control, two damage to property, six disturbances, three dog complaints, two domestics, 16 escorts, two fights, one fraud, two forgery, four harassment, one juvenile complaint, 11 miscellaneous, one noise complaint, three prowlers, five suspicious persons/vehicles, one terroristic threat, four thefts and one welfare check. They issued 25 citations including one criminal trespass, one disorderly conduct, one loud music, one open container, two possession of marijuana, 11 seat belt violations, seven speeding and one traffic light violation.

Johnny Dwayne Flournoy, 18, Barnesville, terroristic threats, possession of alcohol underage, disorderly conduct and obstruction of an officer;
Brian Jokevis Durham, 21, Barnesville, contempt of court;
James Kenneth Davis, 23, Atlanta, probation violation;
Martha Jean Watkins, 19, Barnesville, cruelty to children;
Adam Ray Layson Jr., 48, Barnesville, possession of cocaine, drugs not in original container, improper U-turn, no insurance and operating an unregistered vehicle;
Ryan Davis Radar, 29, Milner, DUI and driving with a suspended license;
George William Williams, 47, probation violation;
Jarvis Montrell Allen, 28, Milner, probation violation;
Omar Shantay Whatley, 28, Barnesville, arrested for Spalding County;
Lynwood Smith Jr., 47, Barnesville, probation violation.
Deputies answered 126 calls, responded to 11 traffic accidents, served 16 warrants and 73 civil papers and/or subpoenas and issued 49 citations.
Lamar County E-911 received 84 emergency calls dispatching county deputies to 32, city police to 24, county fire and first responders to 23, city fire to five and E.M.S. to 43
