Lamar County hosts Crawford County Friday night as the Trojans celebrate Homecoming 2011 in Thunder Alley. The Trojans are undefeated at 6-0 and 4-0 in Region 4-AA where they sit alone in first place and are ranked #12 in the state in AA by Maxpreps.com. The Eagles are 0-5 overall and 0-3 in region play. Crawford has been shut out four times only scoring against Jeff Davis in a 26-18 loss. The Eagles have lost 18 striaght games dating back to 2009. Lamar is averaging 36.8 points per game while yielding 13.8. [Full Story »]

Lamar County and Monticello will play a third and deciding game today in their Region 4-AA play-in series. The Lady Trojans and Lady Hurricanes split the first two games yesterday with Lamar winning game one 4-2 and Monticello bouncing back to take the nightcap 7-5 in extra innings. [Full Story »]

Lamar County hosts defending 4-AA champion Putnam County Friday night in a game that could end up determining this region winner. The Trojans are undefeated at 4-0 (2-0) in region play. The War Eagles are also 2-0 in 4-AA and 3-1 overall. Their only loss coming to tenth ranked Dublin by a touchdown. Lamar is averaging 43.8 points per game while yielding 15.8. [Full Story »]
