This is a compilation of two outstanding photos taken by two very talented local photographers who were featured in the print edition of The Herald-Gazette in the last few weeks.
Joey Hadsell captured the top photo June 13 as a squall line moved into Lamar County bringing lightning and heavy rains - a near daily occurrence here these days. Joey was just north of the Southern Rivers Energy headquarters on Hwy. 341 at dusk when he got the shot.
Glen Kirkland got the superb shot of the June Supermoon (bottom) on June 23 at the Barnesville reservoir.
