Between Friday, June 5, and Friday, June 12, the Barnesville police department made five arrests:
Laphonso Davis, 4934 Wolzerton Rd., Lithonia, probation violation;
Sebastian Heflin, 140 Fielders Ridge Rd., Fairburn, probation violation;
Matthew Hicks, 2330 Lawrenceville Hwy., Decatur, DUI, failure to maintain lane and possession of alcohol under age;
Wayne Jones, 210 McCollum Rd., Barnesville, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass;
Yeshekia Russell, 3723 Logtown Rd., Thomaston, simple battery.
Officers answered 74 calls for service including five accidents, one alarm, 10 building security checks, one burglary, one crowd control, two damage to property, three dog complaints, two domestics, four entering auto, 19 escorts, two fights, two harassment, two juvenile complaints, four miscellaneous, three noise complaints, two shots fired, four suspicious persons/vehicles, two thefts, one welfare check and three 911 hang-ups.
