Between Friday, Oct. 9, and Thursday, Oct. 15, the Lamar County sheriff's office made 16 arrests:
Adrian Cody Whatley, 30, Griffin, VGCSA;
Aaron Jourdan Copeland, 21, Adel, following too closely, VGCSA and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
C.L. Smith Jr., 24, Moultrie, VGCSA and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime;
Michael Richard Pollard, 46, Barnesville, arrested for Spalding County;
Aja Tamika Card, 28, Barnesville, obstruction of an officer, giving false name to police, allowing unlicensed person to drive, disorderly conduct, terroristic threats and remaining on premises or with safety zone of public or private school without legitimate cause or need to be present;
Johneatha Lanasha Owens, 17, Barnesville, violation of restricted license and giving false statements;
Roxanne Earline Hollis, 45, Milner, burglary;
Michael Todd Hollis, 43, Milner, burglary;
Willie Floyd Perdue, 37, Barnesville, probation violation;
Marieo C. Sullivan, 28, Barnesville, child support default;
Kabrina Pertrice Buckner, 26, Griffin, deposit account fraud;
Kimberly Evone Parker, 41, Macon, arrested for Bibb County;
Thomas J. Brooks, 37, Barnesville, child support default;
Tammara Renee Byrd, 25, Covington, failure to appear;
Myra Lynn Neely, 31, Griffin, arrested for Butts County;
Willie Lewis Watkins, 39, Jackson, giving false name to police, suspended license, open container and improper stop in roadway.
Deputies answered 136 calls, responded to 13 traffic accidents, served 24 warrants and 71 civil papers and/or subpoenas and issued 26 citations. Officers answered 108 calls for service including eight accidents, four alarms, one assault, one EMS assist, 17 building security checks, two criminal trespass, five crowd control, seven damage to property, five disturbances, one dog complaint, one domestic, 17 escorts, two fights, one fraud, two juvenile complaints, eight miscellaneous, three noise complaints, three prowlers, two shots fired, 12 suspicious vehicles, four thefts, one traffic control and one 911 hang-up. Yahreel Raleek Lambert, 20, Riverdale, DUI and failure to stop for stop sign;
Jonothan Bryson Smith, 21, Barnesville, DUI and speeding;
Kelly Brandon Piper, 21, Milner, aggravated battery, terroristic threats and criminal trespass;
Adam Blake Clark, 22, Barnesville, criminal trespass;
Paul Jacob Neesmith, 22, Barnesville, criminal trespass;

 Deputies answered 143 calls, responded to 16 traffic accidents, served 18 warrants and 12 civil papers and/or subpoenas and issued 38 citations.
