Dodge driving burglars in custody
Butts County deputies and other law enforcement officers have arrested two people driving a Dodge following a high speed chase. The chase started in Monroe County after a home invasion there October 13.

Yost pleads guilty in Clark murder case
Kenneth Michael Yost pleaded guilty to felony murder and two additional counts in Lamar superior court October 8. He was sentenced to life in prison for his role in the November 18, 2008 murder of Donald Clark.

Georgia State Patrol post 44 in Forsyth investigated 14 traffic crashes in Lamar County during September.
