FNB suspect charged in Concord bank robberies
The man charged with last week's robbery of an FNB branch in Griffin has now been charged with two similar robberies at a bank in Concord.

Milner police report
During August the Milner police department worked 378 man hours and patrolled 3,576 miles. Officers investigated seven incidents and eight miscellaneous calls and performed 80 building security checks and six EMS assists. They issued 42 warnings and 79 citations including 54 speeding, one violation of drivers license restrictions, two driving without a license, three open container, three DUI, four seat belt violations, one window tint violation, one failure to maintain lane, one shoplifting, two expired tags, three defective equipment, one unregistered vehicle, one no insurance, one permitting unlawful operation of a vehicle and one violation of a special permit while driver's license is suspended.

Clark, Yost indicted for Nov. killing
Alleged killers Jennifer Clark and Kenneth Michael Yost were indicted on multiple charges last week by the Lamar County grand jury.
The pair is accused of beating Clark's ex-husband Donald Clark to death with a metal baseball bat last November and dumping his body in a Redbone cornfield where it was found on Christmas eve.
Clark and Yost were indicted on one count of malice murder and two counts of felony murder. No announcement has been made as to whether district attorney Richard Milam will seek the death penalty in the case.

BPD issues warrant in Title Cash robbery
Detectives with the Barnesville Police Department have issued a warrant for Alison Leanna Cook for false report of a crime and theft by taking.
Cook was the sole employee on August 31 when an emergency call was placed in regards to a robbery at Title Cash on Highway 341 and Yatesville Road.
The suspect being sought was originally described by Cook as a lone white male. The amount of money taken was undetermined at the time of the incident. [Full Story »]
