Allison Renee Smith, 8, was killed in April 1986. The second grader’s death was determined a homicide by the GBI but no charges were ever filed in the case and it remains an open investigation 26 years later.

Authorities made an arrest in connection with two robberies that occurred last week - one at a Zebulon gas station and the other at a Griffin bank. According to Pike County Sheriff Jimmy Thomas, an arrest was made Monday night in Pike County and charges will be announced in the near future. [Full Story »]
