Mrs. Carol Williams Fuller, age 66, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at her residence. Mrs. Fuller is the daughter of the late Mr. James Tommie Williams and the late Mrs. Mary Emma Huddleston Williams and was also preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn and by her brothers, Hoyt, Hanson, Franklin, Carvel, Norman, Merrill and Auris.

Mrs. Carol Williams Fuller, age 66, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at her residence. Mrs. Fuller is the daughter of the late Mr. James Tommie Williams and the late Mrs. Mary Emma Huddleston Williams, and was also preceded in death by her Sister, Evelyn, and by her Brothers, Hoyt, Hanson, Franklin, Carvel, Norman, Merrill, and Auris. Mrs. Fuller was married to Mr. “Joe” Fuller for 49 years. Mrs. Fuller was all about her family and her Church. She was a Mother, a Grandmother and a homemaker. Although she was born in Pike County, she lived her entire life in Lamar County, and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Husband – “Joe” Fuller of Barnesville; 1 Daughter – Janet Laney (& Todd) of Barnesville; 2 Sons – Dr. Joel Fuller (& Christy) of Barnesville, and Jason Fuller of Barnesville; 4 Grandchildren – Adam Laney, Justin Laney, Jordan Fuller, and Riley Fuller ; and Mother-in-Law –Esther Buice Fuller ; Sister - Sybil Denton ; 2 Brother Clifford Williams ; & Cecil Williams ; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Carol Williams Fuller will be conducted Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 2 O’Clock in the Antioch Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Morgan and Rev. Tim Calvert officiating. The family will receive friends at the Antioch Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 6p.m. to 8 p.m.

Mrs. Linda Carol McBroom Fogarty “Sister”, 69, of Barnesville, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Fogarty was born August 18, 1945 in Barnesville, daughter of the late J.D. and Lucille Drake McBroom. She was a switchboard operator for Southern Bell and attended the First Baptist Church of Barnesville. Mrs. Fogarty loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed listening to Gospel music.

Mr. Jason Edwin Shirey, 39, of Barnesville passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston following a brief illness.
Mr. Shirey was born May 30, 1975 in Macon to Don and Geri Shirey. He was preceded in death by his father, Don Shirey; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Alice Brady; paternal grandparents, Grady and Ricey Shirey.
Mr. Shirey was a 1993 graduate from Perry High School. He was employed with the City of Barnesville for approximately 15 years as City Assistant Manager. Mr. also had an associate degree in computers and was currently finishing up his degree in Administration. In his youthful years he was an Eagle Scout in Troup #96 with his father being Scout Leader. Mr. Shirey was always helping those he come in contact with and was loved by all. He loved to ski and be with family and friends. Mr. Shirey was a member of the Pinta Masonic Lodge #88 and attended the Barnesville Church of the Nazarene. Jason was the best son, brother and friend ever.
Survivors include his mother, Geri Brady Shirey of Barnesville; brother, Grady (Hilary) Shirey of Perry; niece, Lindsey Sparks of Perry; nephews, Will Shirey, Carson Shirey, Carter Shirey and Hunter Sparks all of Perry; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon, March 29, 2015 with Reverends Lonnie Grant and Garth Forster officiating.
Interment will follow in the Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Kite with Masonic rites.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday evening, March 28, 2015 at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Mark Howell, Kelley Haddock, Donnie Allen, Kenneth Kittrell, Mark Coffee and Andy Stuckey
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Pinta Masonic Lodge #88.
