Emily Johns resigned as President of the Barnesville Lamar County Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Johns said, “Lamar County is one of the most wonderful places I have ever been. The town is picturesque and filled with the most wonderful people.”
Ms. Johns began her work with the Chamber in July and effectively managed Summer Sizzle and Buggy Days alongside the Committee Chairs, TJ Imberger and Tim Turner and multiple volunteers. Julia Ann Ridgeway, Chair of the Board of Directors, stated that the board wished her well and appreciates her work while serving as President.
Emily Rowland, the Administrative Assistant, will be taking care of daily operations and the Board invites the community to the upcoming Illumination Ceremony scheduled for November 21, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in downtown Barnesville.
