The undefeated Lamar County Trojans traveled to Zebulon Friday night and shutout the Pike Pirates 19-0 in The Battle of Potato Creek, a key region matchup. Realtime scoring from the game was provided by Walter Geiger.

Their only loss came to First Presbyterian Day in a non-region contest. Both squads are 3-0 in Region 4AA. A ball boy since he could walk, Trojan sophomore kicker Tyler Scandrett boomed a 38-yard field goal in overtime Friday night to propel the Lamar County Trojans to a 38-35 win over Morgan County in a key region contest.

All local recreation players and cheerleaders wearing their game jerseys or uniforms will be admitted to the game free of charge.
