Just heard Lamar County School System just changed the first day of school to August 3rd.

Good for Lamar Co. Once you finally stopped wasting time on that dress code fiasco and got back to education things turned around.

I think the Herald Gazette should get an award for their contribution in the field of education. There is no doubt this blog has helped people refresh writing and reading skills, in some cases even taught many. I commend Walter and staff, especially you Andrew for such a wonderful job YA'LL are doing.
