Tonight is the night for the second annual Soap Game. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Trojan Field.

may be the Trjans can win a state champion ship that has not happened since Coach Wilson,Yavak, and all the other good coaches has left not sayin our coaches aren't good but I realy don't know any thing about them BUT lets paly ball wish yall luck

I have a list of Ga high school state championships since 1978 and I do not see Lamar county on it at all. Exactly, what year did you think we won one? In our glory years (80's/90's) we won a region title or two maybe but I don't think we have ever won a state title.
1980 was the year of the bulldog though, Mary Persons Highschool won the state and Uga won the national.

I would like to say that football in Lamar County is BACK!!!!!!! What an awesome night and start to hopefully a great season. Way to go Middle School. You guys and coaches showed out tonight. They look Great!!! The High School looked better than I have seen in awhile. I see better discipline and heart. Alittle too much showboating from 1 or 2 and the offensive line needs to block a little better, but other than that and a few missed passes, they looked good. Congrats to all players and coaches. Looking forward to a WONDERFUL season!!!!!!! The Trojans Are Back!!!!!!!

How many people come to the game and actually observe it in Lamar County? I know the ones running around and standing in the ailes aren't but what about the people who actually sit in the stands. I know most people watch the game but who actually observes it?

If you observed the game, then you would know that the program is about to do a major turnaround. It might not be this year but give 2 years and a region championship and state title run is in their grasp. I can say this b/c that middle school team has some players!! There will be some college football offers going out in 5 years from now.
