Celebrate like a king on MLK day
The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Unity in the Community Celebration will begin at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, at the E.P. Roberts Center. The theme this year is "Keeping the Dream Alive through the Dream of Change."

Will they march if the temperature is in the teens like this morning or will the march be cancelled?

As far as we know it will not be canceled. If we hear differently we will post the news immediately.

No parade for MLK. No Mid Georgia Ambulance, No Gordon College Police, No Barnesville/Lamar County fire department, No Gordon College, No Lamar County Military, No horses, No civil war and other. We want parade for Buggy Day, BBQ & Blue Festival, Homecoming, and July 4th.
