There is nothing wrong with the photo. It was taken at 7:37 a.m. last Friday morning. Traffic seemed a bit heavier than normal and I happened to catch a traffic violation. To my knowledge there are no detection devices there so the perp will get away without a violation.
It's about time something was done for this intersection, too many people have died or been seriously injured for too many decades. The community has begged for changes at this intersection for at least 20 years, probably even longer and although I'm thankful to see something finally being done, it's too late for too many and Lamar County should be ashamed for waiting so long before doing something.
Citizens should do more to get things done to improve the community. There's many things the community could do, but many are too lazy to do a single thing and those who try find themselves fighting a steep uphill battle because other Citizens in the community refuse to help, and instead hinder in many horrible ways.
