GC president Larry Weill told the Barnesville-Lamar County Industrial Development Authority projections were enrollment would be up 17% over last fall when enrollment was about 3800.

It looks like the calibre of students has certainly changed since years ago when the citizens of Barnesville welcomed Gordon cadets to town.

Maybe these 4,000 students will improve the economy. They probably have more expendable income than most of us.

The school needs to make more parking spots for all of the students. The parking situation is ridiculous.

I think Gordon should purchase the College Manor subdivision. Students still could walk to school

Cutting back on teachers and services now, but last year money to move a 1000 foot long sidewalk 2 feet. Money to recarpet and spruce up and tear down and renew buildings, but not enough money for education. Money to have a fancy GC logo in stone years ago, but now no money for necessities. Now we have more students. I bet they wish that sidewalk was back where it was and they had that money that went to pay illegal laborers back.
