I hope they had the decency to thank Bruce and Gene for their service. If not, thanks gentlemen. That's more than we can say for those who make the appointments. Hopefully the voters will remember the commissioners and their self-serving politics.

Who is this Brown guy? He and his wife trying to run everything makes me nervous.

Why would you think "this Brown guy" or his wife is trying to run everything? If you don't know them, why don't you do a little research before you make assumptions or get "nervous"? Afterwards, if you still have the same judgements, run for commissoner and work for changes that you think are needed.

Didn't Aaron Brown run against Jimmy Hearn in that district?

The Browns have run for everything in town except dog catcher. Perhaps they will finally get the message that others do not care for them.....

#5: That's a cheap shot. She's involved in helping youth and they both volunteer with the arts and other community programs. What do you do for others? Probably nothing but shoot the xhit.

I made a comment that din't make it to the posting. I wonder if it had anything to do with an opinion about another serving member of the IDA.

I am sorry GMAC. I didn't see that comment. I would not have moderated based on opinion. Please accept my apologies. We are, in fact, an open forum and open to all opinions.

No, they didn't thank Hardwick or Akins for their service. I thank them and they wil be missed. Wayne and Ms. Idol, congratulations! I think you both will do a fine job. However, the prevous members did a great job with no thanks. Change is good and I accept that but this community needs to learn alot about the dedication of citizens and thank them for their services.
