Not only did he appoint Bernanke, he took time to campaign for his other plans too. Will someone please tell this fella that the election ended a few months back. I'm kinda tired of hearing his rhetoric every day. Oh well, if he keeps talking, his performance and popularity polls will keep going down - and that's a good thing!

Right on, Linda. I remember when Nadia Comaneci got the first perfect score of 10 in the Olympics. The score boards were not equipped to handle it because they assumed it would never happen. Wouldn't it be wonderful if obama got the first approval rating of President preceded by a negative sign. I would laugh until my real, no cavity, perfect check-up, 58 year old teeth fell out!

The Federal Reserve is Unconstitutional, it can't even be audited by the government. Ben is as good as any other crook.

Most everything the Federal Government does is Unconstitutional! If the citizens who know this had the resources to challenge the Government, the citizens would win. The problem is we have to sit back and take whatever the Federal Government does because they have the resources (our money) to do it.

Isn't the federal reserve really a private institution that isn't really part of the govt?

It's hard to tell how good of a job he has done because there hasn't been enough time to judge the true long term results. Based on short term results, 16% unemployment, a quadruplying of deficit, drop in value of dollar, massive decrease in tax collections, unstainable industry bailouts, and last but not least, having to listen to the Chinese premier giving America advice on how to fix our economy on Headline News this weekend, it occurs to me Bernanke, and now Obama for rehiring him, may not know what they are doing.
