Meet and Greet set for education committee

The Lamar County education committee will host a Meet and Greet Monday, Aug. 31, at 7 p.m. at the board of education building on Victory Lane. All parents and citizens interested in knowing more about the community education committee are invited to attend.

There will be an informal time of socializing, some light refreshments, and a very brief program about midway through the one hour event.
