This past week I rediscovered a thought I have had almost every 3-day weekend I have ever experienced.
What do we - as the American workforce - accomplish on day 5 of our 40-hour workweek that we could not finish up on day 4?
What could be gained from a 4-day work week and what could be lost? There seems to be so many angles: family time, quality of life, length of workdays, stress, revenue, etc.

I agree four 10 hour days makes much more sense and the annual cost savings for the employee should be considerable. You know it won’t happen unless the business world will gain some type of cost savings advantage. I see it as a way of giving a person their life back and less a wage slave. Then, there are those who will turn up the heat and choose to work two jobs with the time off, which is fine if they do, as long as it doesn’t become the norm. It could become the norm as the cost to live increases.
What is "A Life"?
