Between Saturday, Sept. 12, and Friday, Sept. 18, the Barnesville police department made eight arrests:
Jasper Childree Jr., 1800 Preminter Rd., Perry, DUI, driving while license suspended and failure to maintain lane;
Roxanne Cosper, 769, Crossland Lenox Rd., Omega, disorderly conduct;
Jamiri Dumas, 122 Carey J. Buckner Cir., Barnesville, theft by taking;
Willie Hamm, 398 Atlanta St., Barnesville, shoplifting;
David Knight, 108 Shady Brook Lane, Barnesville, theft by taking;
James Lee, 1099 Hwy. 18, Barnesville, driving while license suspended;
Lewis Maynard, 608 Spencer St., Barnesville, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct;
Ernesto Zavalza-Delgado, 627 Greenwood St. Apt. A, Barnesville, DUI, open container, driving while unlicensed and failure to maintain lane.
Officers answered 106 calls for service including 10 accidents, eight alarms, one armed robbery, one assault, one EMS assist, 17 building security checks, one burglary, four crowd control, two damage to property; 14 disturbances, three domestics, 19 escorts, three harassment, five miscellaneous, three noise complaints, two prowlers, one shoplifting, seven suspicious persons/vehicles, three thefts and one traffic control. They issued 34 citations including one criminal trespass, three disorderly conduct, two driving while license suspended, two DUI, one driving while unlicensed, two failure to maintain lane, one loud music, two open container, three parking violations, one seat belt violation, one shoplifting, 13 speeding, one striking a fixed object and one suspended registration.
