Former SCLC pres. arrested in tractor assault
A Lamar County man who formerly served as president of the local chapter of the Southern Christ-ian Leadership Conference was arrested October 1 after allegedly assaulting three people with a tractor in an apparent boundary dispute here.

As the only Brian Nicholas I know in Lamar County, I have to ask the question. Did you mean Brian Nichols the guy that shot the judge and others in Atlanta? Because, I certainly have done my share of things growing up here, but honestly nothing to rate a mention like this on the blog. I mean I do remember most things that I did growing up. However, if you have a good story or two that I may have forgotten that is worth comparing me to someone that attempted to assault someone with a tractor, allegedly, please tell it. I could use a laugh and I can take it at my own expense.
