Lamar Co. ready to combat H1N1

The Lamar County Health Department has received its first shipment of H1N1 "swine" flu vaccines in mist form. The immunizations are designated for healthy children between the ages of 2-4 and their caregivers.

"It's a limited amount," said nurse Sherry Farr. "We'll be getting more and will make announcements as it comes in."

I don't trust this vaccine. Something just doesnt seem right about it. I'll let others test it out to make sure the after effects doesnt do more harm then good. Then if another pandemic breaks out I'll consider it.

Poison....ask to see the inserts of this vaccine. This is a live virus injected nasally?

Yep, cleared up my concern. Think I'll just sit this one out.

well i guess we are supposed to run and get it. not. everyone needs to go to youtube and type in h1n1 1976 and see what this type of vaccine has done in the past. i don't know if it's the same seeing how our scientist are smarter but worth checking out. research people research.

Most all shots that are regulated by the goverment are live virus...Maybe you need to read more then one label!!

You ppl kill me!! If you are ment to get it, then it will happen. Does not matter if you try to prevent it or not. You take a chance either way by taking it or not taking it. Same goes for the ppl who do take the shot.....How do they know it was prevented just by taking a shot?? They could have not taken the shot and chances are they wouldn't have gotten it.....

Ever think about back in the day when they had the Plague and nothing could stop it?? Well, ppl this maybe our Plaugue of our century. To many ppl in the world, lets take them down one by one with our Plague of the century.......LOL!! Now you ppl will be scared crapless!! LOL!!
