Former local Southern Christian Leadership Conference president Claude Holloway was granted a $35,000 property bond following an emotional hearing before Judge Bill Fears October 8.

Judge: "Now look here Sheriff, I want you to go to this man's house take all his guns away from him. Oh yeah, take all the tractors too. We don't want him trying to hurt anyone with a tractor again."

Don't forget about staying on the "crazy pills" Anon. The Asst. D.A. wanted to make sure that Mr. Claude Holloway has a defense for his "crazy" actions.

Do you think relatives will have heightened tensions when Ol' Claude picks up that BIG carving knife at the Holloway Thanksgiving Dinner?

It's hard to use a tractor to carve a turkey.

Do these people think folks are stupid?? Mental issue? I think not! Why would you try to run over an elderly citizen with a tractor regardless if the somebody else had a gun? This does not add up. Who does the law in Lamar County protect? Certainly not it's law abiding citizens.
