It is very thoughtful of Sheriff Larry Waller to be promoting Teen Driver Safety Week with Phil Bell. Larry is a fine Sheriff protecting and serving the citizens of Lamar County ensuring their safety and well being.

Keep up the GOOD work LCSO. There have been too many tragic traffic deaths involving our Lamar County young people. It's about time a REAL Sheriff took an active role in educating our teenagers about Safe Driving.
Phil Bell and State Farm also deserve recognition for insuring teen drivers. Good job. My husband, Hezabighun, and I support “Ride Like A Friend” .


BTW: That is a nice 'business man look' photograph of Sheriff Waller.
He should use it again as the primary stock photo in his campaign for
re-election to continue being our most qualified and effective Sheriff.

Wally? Isn't Wally the name of the Redneck Dufus that worked at the filling station with Gomer Pyle up in Mayberry. He was a friend of Sheriff Taylor. Remember? Do you work at a filling station too? Not a Waller friend?

You need extensive reading instructions BEFORE replying to comments.

In my sincere post praising our decent Sheriff Waller, I mentioned my husband, Hezabighun. According to my dear spouse, I am far from being a DUDE and I do have a CRUSH on my considerate and intelligent MAN.

You NEVER have anything kind to say. Is your vocabulary limited to: "dude", "waller", "MAN-CRUSH" and "groupies"? Your lack of education is showing and your 3rd grade writing ability gives decent REDNECK HONKIES a bad name. As Gomer Pyle said, SHAME..SHAME..SHAME!

You appear to have seen the inside of a Sheriff Waller jail cell. Right?

I find it very interesting that Phillip Bell is supporting teen drivers, because the state farm rep before him did not. I can remember when I was 18, I moved out of my parents house and enrolled in college. I worked full-time and went to school thus allowing me to purchase my 1st car. I purchased the car but low and behold the local State Farm rep said" we can't insure you at your age unless you are on your parents policy". I had to go to Macon to Purchase insurance with State Farm but a different agent. Needless to say; to this day 19 years later, my insurance is still with the State Farm rep in Macon.

The use of the word "redneck" in an intended insult, actually shows YOUR lack of education,and YOUR narrow minded thoughts, i'm a redneck and damn proud of it.Im also a "honky" and damn proud of that also. It looks as though your use of the english language is very limited, and your understanding of english is even worse.

Wally, incognito as charlessb, how creative of you to gather all your immediate Redneck Honky family members and collectively struggle to compose such a powerful post. You have a right to be proud of your lineage. It takes a REAL Redneck Honky to put your bloodline out there for thousands of THG readers and the majority Lamar County to see.

Your group offering is fraught with severe grammatical inconsistencies.
I desire to help "y'all", but, space doesn't permit a full lesson. I sincerely hope "y'alls" learning curve came with each of you when "y'all" individually graduated 3rd. grade. Adulthood English is hard to grasp.

Let's see. "y'alls" syntax and sentence structure, absence of capitalization, coupled with improper usage of commas, apostrophes, periods and poorly constructed prepositional phrases are gross indicators that "y'all" need major assistance with English composition.
I truly wish that I was able to assist "y'all" more so "y'all" would be better prepared when "y'all" get together for another family effort at blogging.

Constructive tutelage for future use:

My useage of "the inside of a Sheriff Waller jail cell" is CORRECT. 'inside' is the subject 'NOUN' while 'Sheriff Waller jail cell' are the subject predicates used as modifiers. Examples to help "y'all":

1. charlessb was seen shoplifting 'inside of a WalMart store'.
2. charlessb and Wally acted stupid 'inside of a jukejoint' and continued to act stupid while they were 'inside of a Sheriff Waller jail cell".

Your useage of 'Sheriff Waller's jail cell' indicates personal possession modifying your noun "jail", whereas "inside" was my non-possessive subject noun. u-n-d-e-r-s-t-a-n-d?

Yes, I concur with you, English is sometimes a problem for me.
It is so pesky for a Persian like me with a first language of Farsi to
"think English" as the other 5 languages I speak creep over when I speak or write the English language. I'm sure you u-n-d-e-r-s-t-a-n-d.

Make it happen. We need a fulltime paid fire chief and firefighters with all the new firehouse manned 24/7. Not 1 paid firefighter on duty in the county? Not 3 paid firefighters? There not 50 firefighters. We are about 100 firefighters. We need? 3 or 6 or 9 paid firefighters on duty in the city and county everyday. How many paid firefighters. We need? Make It Happen! Locate the volunteer fire fighter that keeps posting these half sentenced, poorly structured statements! Vote YES on kicking him out of the department! Put a stop this this guy even coming close to a firetruck! You, THE VOTERS, can do this! Make It Happen! Find this disgruntled volunteer!

BTW, what did this rant even have to do with state farm or the drive safety week?
