Sophie, a one-year-old Yorkie, is known to many locals who visit Carter's Drug Store as owner Virginia Carter's sidekick. Friday night, Sophie got out of the Carter residence on Spencer Street in Barnesville and has not been seen since.

I just got the news from Virginia that Sophie has been found! I know that my sister is so happy to have Sophie safely returned to her. I'm so thankful to EVERYONE who helped look for Sophie. Its truly a wonderful feeling knowing that you come from a town where friends and neighbors will all pitch to help you out in times of need. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
