Gore - Vulture Capitalism At Its Worst
It's obscene. A few days ago, the Department of Energy awarded contracts worth $560 million dollars to utilities that have partnered with Silver Springs Networks, a "green" company that specializes in making electrical grids more efficient.
You write as though you do not own any gasoline or diesel powered vehicles. Do you do own big screen televisions, large refrigerators and freezers? LCD devices? How many vehicles in your household, Enoc? How much power does your big home use each month? How to you propose to power all of your modern conveniences. Do you own a large house, SUVs or trucks? Do you just walk or ride a bike?
Do you not use plastics, rubber, chemicals? I don't recall Georgia's having adverse effects for our nuclear power plants. Do you own pets, cattle, horses, or goats that poop and emit gases? Do you hold your farts in order to reduce methane emissions?
When was the last time you were burned by acid rain? You are using a lot of "ifs" now instead of being sure about global warming. Did you view Lord Monckton on You Tube or Glen Beck show? What happened?
It is easy to see you have gotten your panties all bunched up because someone DARES to mention the name of Al Gore, the second biggest LIAR in the Democrat/Socilaist/Markist Party.

FYI: The earth is not flat..nor is it the center of the universe - and global warming is real.
How did you know I had an old CRT TV? SInce it is a 19" set, the energy use isn't as great as that of a nice 25 incher. My utilities are included here at the Last Stop Rest Home. The director estimates that I consume $9.00 worth of energy and water combined.
Since I use a 40 watt bulb in my lamp and I only shower 2 minutes each Saturday whether I need to or not, I estimate usage to be around $5.50 per month. Plus, I share this old 486 PC using Windows 95.
I don't have any gasoline expense. I beg a ride whenever transportation is required.Some of the residents here plan on writing Obama to see if he will give us one of them "clunkers" that cost taxpayers $24K each on every deal. If that doesn't pan out, would you loan us one of your vehicles to display real Democrat compassion?
Burping is OK...it leaves only a very small carbon footprint!

I don't care if it is Rush, Sarah, Enoc or Kelan el Carrs who has invested in a company that is working toward improving power grid efficiency. We have LONG way to go with our power grids, and since we deregulated ownership restrictions the new owners have not been investing in improvements. They have not even been maintaining some critical grids. They are more interested in wringing money out of the system.
Enoc is spot on about energy efficiency too. We brainwash kids about silly nonsense like unplugging wall warts when we waste thousands of times that energy amount in a typical home.
Ya'll all must be rich. I have a big cardboard box covered in some old dry-cleaning plastic bags to keep out the rain. I have a cement floor sometimes and sometimes it's grass. It just depends on where I set up for the night. It's a special box that includes heating and cooling. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. On mild days the temperature ain't so bad. I conserve water by not taking a bath. And all I have to do to clear a room in go in. I eat good cause just about every day I can find a good road kill and if I'm lucky it wont be too flat. You would be amazed at what rich folks throw away. I can find bread that might be a little hard but all you have to do is call it toast. Heave you ever enjoyed a yeller salad. They ain't too bad either. On warm days I can go down to the creek. I'll get wet then beat myself clean on a rock to get clean. Ouch!After that I can go in to a room and people just stare and keep their distance. I am guilty of making a fire to cook my road kill but I must hurry cause they always be somebody out there complaining. I visit the car wash and find pennies that gets tossed out. I just about have enough to get me a toothbrush. Course I might not need it by the time I can afford it cause my teeth ain't so good. It's really bad when you get a tooth ache. Just suffer till it falls out or till you can knock it out with something. Guessing that's about all my good fortune.
I know that Al Gore man. He's been sitting hiself up for a long time to screw the public. He's got him a big old house just north of here. I don't think it be too green though. Coursing he don't care causing he done dupped hisself a fortune.
On one last note. Ifing we destroy the earth it's because it was God's will so Al Gore ain't got nuting to do with it.
Yall want to save something. They be lots of people out there that are homeless and hungry and not living off uncle sam. They make it on their own and you never hear a peep out of them. Who is it that's whineing all the time?

If we look at the power grid and what deregulation has done, it has virtually stopped reinvestment and improvements on investor owned power grids. It is a serious problem that isn't helped by being jealous of Gore or anyone else having money to invest in companies that might make things better.
This also, like most bad things going on now, is not Bush or Obama's doing. It is the accumulation of years of a two party system where the only goal of both parties is to stay in office at any cost.
We don't hire or elect public officials or place people on authorities based on either brains or common sense. We do it because we don't like the other guy more. With bad management and friends hiring friends the system is bound to become a failure. We have become sheeple.
I,ve known you and your wife well enought that I bet a month's salery you have done quiet well and have much to show for your hard earned money. a cardboard box is hardly what you would call for what you have.

If Gore was so keen on being green he wouldn't live the way he does. His home wouldn't be a master at resource destruction. I think Gore's agenda is to appear to be the green guru to the people whlie he prepares to rake in billions from the taxpayer.
I'll put my faith in the Bible and you put yours wherever you want. Perhaps it is man's purpose to destroy the Earth. If that is God's will then nothing will change it. And if you are right with God you won't have to worry about it. You won't be here.
To use the term “God’s will” is just a cop out or an excuse for humanity’s failure to move forward.
When I look out across space I wonder if God has created other places for man and what the shape of things are there. He gave us Earth and His Word. Perhaps he gave others their Earth and His word too.
God's will? Perhaps I could have chosen better words but I don't know which ones. Whatever we destroy He can fix. I don't know if you've had your eyes open lately but it appears to me that man believes he can lead and rule without God's help. Perhaps God is going to give man just enough rope.

I’m saying that man is getting what he deserves. Man has been turning his back on God for so long that yes man has hold of the rope. As for life on other planets, I don't know. Of course I don't need to know either. I can imagine that with all that space in the heavens that life exist out there somewhere too. Put there by the same God that put us here. Perhaps that whole space is reserved for those that put their faith in God. After all Jesus said that there were many mansions and there is certainly many stars.
"Which God"? Well Tom there's only one. If you don't know that then you might be around to see the end. And if I’m wrong then I'll just be with you. But I do have faith in God and I think I'll be taken away.
In the end there will be fewer and fewer believers and so many that choose to believe and trust in man to save them: Or perhaps the anti-Christ; that one man or one woman who will start the destruction. Personally I don't care because the world is getting more evil every day. The Mayans predict a new beginning in 2012. Maybe that's what we need - a new beginning. Whatever the outcome I'll place my faith and trust in God and continue to be waiting on the return of Jesus Christ. You have that same choice. Nobody but you can choose the direction you wish to go. And there is room at the cross for you and everyone else.
The effects of global warming may not be felt in this lifetime but I care about my children and future grandchildren enough to give it serious consideration.
